my motivATION:

I’VE worked as AN INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER FOR MOST OF MY LIFE. THE PAST 15-YEARS, MY WORK HAS BEEN FOCUSED ON EXPLORING CULTURE, IDENTITY, AND INTIMACY. THE EXPERIENCES OF WOMEN IS THE MAIN INSPIRATION OF MY WORK. 

PHOTOGRAPHY HAS GIVEN ME A DEEPER UNDERSTAND OF HOW DYNAMIC PEOPLE CAN BE, HOW THEY ARE NEVER ONE-DIMENSIONAL AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEIR NEED FOR AN OUTLET TO UNVEIL HIDDEN PIECES OF THEIR CHARACTER.  THEREFORE, THE AESTHETIC OF MY PHOTOS POSSESSES AN ORGANIC FAMILIARITY ACHIEVED THROUGH CONVERSATION AND MUTUAL CONFIDING.

I LIKE TO BLEND INDULGENCE AND THE ABSURD INTO BACKDROPS OF EVERYDAY LIFE! YOU DON’T NEED TO BE A MODEL IN ORDER TO FEEL SEEN AND EMPOWERED. I FIND THE EXTRAORDINARY IN EVERYDAY WOMEN, MEN AND MEMBERS OF THE LGBTQIA COMMUNITY.

IN THE END, IT IS NOT ABOUT BEING SEXY BUT ABOUT BEING free.
